Why You'll Love This Recipe

There is something magical about the combination of fresh lemon, fragrant herbs, and perfectly cooked salmon. This recipe is my go-to for weeknight dinners when I want something that feels special but takes minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter with lemon juice, garlic, dill, parsley, and lemon zest.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush the herb butter generously over each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and extra herbs.

Tips & Variations

  • Don't overcook: Salmon continues cooking after you remove it from the oven
  • Crispy skin: Start skin-side up for the last 2 minutes under the broiler
  • Side dishes: Pairs beautifully with roasted asparagus or rice pilaf

Storage & Reheating

Leftover salmon keeps for 2 days in the fridge. Reheat gently at 275°F for 10 minutes to avoid drying out.
